If walking, photography, breath taking scenery and breathing in salty, invigorating Atlantic sea air is your thing, this tour is for you! Come explore the iconic Cliffs of Moher on the scenic coastal Wild Atlantic Way route.
Your local driver/guide will take you on a fascinating journey along the Wild Atlantic Way from Galway City, through the lunar-like landscape of the Burren and on to the Cliffs of Moher. Heading towards the Cliffs you will pass through picturesque Irish villages, see medieval ruins, 16th-century tower-house castles, Abbeys, churches, graveyards, dry stone walls, quays and harbours, ponies, horses, calves, cows, lambs and sheep.
Your driver / guide will drop you at the Quay at Doolin, from here you start your self-guided walk via the village of Doolin along the Cliff path to the Cliffs of Moher. The 8km of coastal walkway offers breathtaking views of Galway Bay, the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher.
Rendezvous with your driver / guide and the tour coach at the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre at 4.30pm and then return to Galway via Lisdoonvarna, home to the famed match making festival and once again through the limestone, glacio-karst landscape that makes up the unique Burren.
